More Information

I have a very wierd situation. I have a compaq nx 9010 and have been experiencing connectivity issues. I first thought my mac adress was blocked, but that is not the case. I can connect @ local cofee shops, but not @ home. It just started one day with the limited/no connectivity message. I have got it to connect twice in two weeks @ home, only to lose connectivity randomly. I have tried the following.

winsock fix
ensure dchp is enabled
repair
roll back drivers (unable to)
ipconfig, renew, release, (it says media is disconnected)
wzc managed ethernet (enable)
wireless zero config repair

WTF else is there!!! Im not a computer guy, but I know how to use em, and play around a bit with troubleshooting and researching issues. So here I am at the coffee shop. HELP!
