When you conect an external hard drive - USB or otherwise - you usually have the 'safely disconect hardware' icon in the bottom right corner. It has disapeared on my computer - Which makes me have to restart the computer in order to switch USB hard drives out of fear that i might loose data if i just pull them out...
How can i get this icon back?
