"upgrading to Vista to XP" Question

can i "upgrade" or degrade from Vista to XP using Windows XP upgrade?
cause i have vista premium installed and i don't have xp cd...
i'm planning to just buying an xp upgrade cd..
will that work?

You would have to reformat the hard drive and have a CD with a previous version of Windows to use a XP Upgrade CD.

Your choices are either to format, or to create another partition - either through software or by installing another HDD - which you then use to install XP on.

If you decide to dual boot: Since you have Vista first, and because Windows versions will default to always booting off of the same partition, you may well need to do some extra work as detailed in the following:
