Linux install w/ x58 and i7-920?

Hi-

I was wondering if any of you have built a Linux PC with the new x58 Mobos and i7 CPUs. I haven't been able to find much on the net about these setups. I am currently looking at a the EVGA 132 mobo and i7 920 on Newegg with a redhat/Fedora solution but would be open to suggestions.

It should work if you use Fedora 10 or 11 or Ubuntu 8.10 or 9.04.

Fedora 11 and Ubuntu 9.04 should be released later this month.

If you use older versions you may have problems.

If compatibility is crucial then look for Linux friendly hardware.

I haven't built any i7s but all AM2/AM2+s I'm built have worked
