AMD 780G or nVidia 8200/8300 system, i'd pick nvidia because of better 3d support should you want to play games (you can with these chipsets! i play WoW with it on ubuntu linux ;-)

So any motherboard nVidia 8200/8300 (8300 is a little faster for 3D tasks) chipset, a cheap athlon x2 cpu (35W or 45W TDP) and some DDR2 memory (2GB minimum, i recommend 2x2GB so total of 4GB).
