I have noticed many others have the same problem except I have been able to find a solution.
I have an ASUS graphics card, (Geforce 8800 GTS) and with it came some extra software.
When playing any video or movie it is now covered in a green hue, therefore ruining playback.
In the top right hand corner, a logo saying "Splendid Video Enhancement Technology" appears.
How do i uninstall this software?
I cannot find it on Add/Remove and i tried downloading the setup file to remove it, but to no avail.
Any suggestions on how to uninstall "Splendid Video Enhancement Technology"?
Thanks,

Register or log in to remove.

I´ve found i way to get rid of it.

download a new grafics driver from nvidias own page instead of at asus and then uninstall the asus graficdrivers and all that has to do with grafic. restart your computer and then install the nvidia driver. now the splendid logo is gone and the video should be back to normal... at least it worked for me.

Good luck to you and all else with this problem.

Hi. Here is your answer:

In windows media player: Tools>Options>Performance>Advanced: here remove the check mark of this option: "Use overlays"

In 321 player(or media player classic): View>Options>Playback>Output: here change the "DirectShow Video" setting from "Overlay Mixer *" to "EVR Custom Pres.**"

In other players try to removing the option "Overlay"
Good Luck
