outlook express address book not working

I have a problem with outlook express and outlook. On outlook express 6 I have removed and installed a dozen times and the address book won't load. It said to reinstall outlook express. Well that don't work. I started up outlook 2003 and save a copy of the pst file with contacts and imported them into outlook and it goes through the motions and when I open up the address book nothing is there. Has anyone have a idea. I have tried every trick I know. Thanks

You have to export contacts as a CSV file which can be imported into the OE Address Book.

Thanks, I finally got it. I repair outlook express and got the address book loaded there, then I imported it from outlook express to outlook. I don't know why outlook express started working again but after 3 reinstallations of it it changed its mind. Thanks

After having tried various of methods without improvement, you can have a try to use special utility to repair your Outlook Express dbx file. I know one, called Advanced Outlook Express Repair. Fortunately , It worked rather well for my corrupt Outlook Express dbx files last time. I think it may be helpful to you. Address book might be corrupted. In that case I should recommend you program method of resolution.

Make use of tool below, program can't modify source data during restoration
