msinfo32 does not work, so i can't make nfo file for support

so, some of my valve games don't work. I was told to make a .nfo file with my system information in it by going to start, run, msinfo32.

so when i go run msinfo32 i get a error saying it 'can't collect information'

i don't even understand these troubleshooting steps!!!

So, you hit the Vista/Start button, type in 'msinfo', hit enter, and it tells you it can't collect?

You hit the start button/computer/system properties/performance/advanced tools and can't get into the performance monitor? Or the Event Log?

problem solved!
typing this in the command prompt worked:

net localgroup administrators NetworkService /ADD
