Ok I'll try and keep this short and simple. I'm running XP at the moment and I want to completely start over as I think it will clear up some problems I'm having.

When I put in the XP CD and reboot it comes up saying that it cant detect any HDD.

I do infact have two 80GB Maxtor running in RAID 0.

If I try and do it from the files copied onto the hard drive it starts the install but at the same point every time it comes up with BSOD message: 0x00000007B or something like that.

PLEASE HELP!

If I have explained very well let me know.

You need to create a floppy with the drivers for your RAID controller and hit F6 during the Windows installation.

Oh ok, that makes sense. Can you tell me how to do it? I have no idea where to start?

Thanks CC

How did Windows get installed on your computer originally?

It was done by the company that built the computer. I've reinstalled XP before but it was on a different computer with only a single HDD.

You need to use the CD that came with the motherboard or download the driver from the manufacturer's web-site.
