More Information

when i need to modify the target path of a shortcut, whether it be forcing resolution or enabling developer mode, i use an internet browser to look up support. however, when i want to switch back to the properties window for a file, it is not in the task bar. other items which do not appear in the task bar are applications such as display properties, device manager, system properties.

is there anyway to set XP so these items show up in my start menu bar (the horizontal bar on the bottom of screen...im not sure of its official name). and to clarify, just in case, im not talking about the little tray icons.

os is xp x64 professional.
