Just tried erasing recorded programs on my cablevision SA 8300HD box and
instead of comming up with options it goes and plays the saved recording. My
disk is full and all saved recordings are 'save till I delete' so disk is
full and no new programs will be recorded. Anyone have this problem?

I had the same problem. You have to start playing the show and hit the
"stop" button on the remote. You will be prompted with a menu to
delete the program.
