Hi,
Does a closed aluminium case = no wifi.
Best get a plastic or silicone cover?
Anyone have any experience with this.

Thanks
Ben

Yes, it will still work. Most aluminum cases on the market are not even a
closed case. In theory it will cut down on your maximum range, but so far
it appears that any loss from such a case on seems to affect the unusable
range anyways - i.e. you need a fairly good signal for it to work to start
with, which is more than enough to overcome the case, aluminum or otherwise.

On a similar note, armadillo shells and tin foil will NOT protect your brain
from radio waves, although they do help a little with Alien thought reading
determent only due to the fact that the aliens become convinced that there
is nothing in that particular brain really worth keeping the rather costly
equipment trained upon. So, with that taken in consideration, they are
effective, albeit only partially and only in groups of other brains to be
scanned.

Not a problem. Running an HX4700 in an Inopocket ali case on a home WiFi
LAN with no discernable loss of signal over no case at all.

Thanks for that.
I can go ahead with getting a case.

xTenn are you a member of the tin foil hat brigade ?
Its not aliens scanning your brain, a reliable source told me it's Major
League baseball.

Ah! - so that explains how they can charge so much for hot dogs and beer at
the game and people still buy them. :)

Good luck with a case - mine has saved a lot of extra damage on the PPC (it
gets enough while I'm using it).
