i was wondering what is the minimum graphics card do u need to run cad, what are the suggested ones, and can i run cad with one of the top gaming cards like 8800gt or the latest ati card which i forgot the name to...

it all depends on how big the file is, the newer cards can deal with a lot of info though, probably the best bang for the buck if your not using multiple monitors is the 8800 gs, you can pick this up at newegg for 100.00USD or less
