Hello All every time I run Vista defragmenter it never completes I left it for hours the other day but the circle just goes round and round. cam anyone help

You need to leave windows defrag running for more than just a few hours. Try running it overnight or over 2/3 days. It will complete, it just takes a while. You can also try running it through the command line if you feel it is an issue with the window.

Auslogic defrag works using a different algorithm to the native defrag, and runs faster with a good progress indicator. You may however get different fragmentation analyses with both products.
