get to the end, than BSOD everytime, tried installing like 5 times, same thing every time...thoughts?

Use one DIMM RAM in slot one only. In BIOS, set memory voltage to Mfg. specs, PC6400 = 2.0-2.1v. After OS and system/MB drivers are installed, add second DIMM.
