For my job, I edit photos that are then printed out and heat-pressed to shirts, mouse pads, dog tags, etc. We really need a good program (freeware preferably) that will have at least all of these features efficiently:

1) Extensive fonts (don't need a huge number, just a variety)

2) Text features (We need to arc the text often)

3) Easy cropping

4) Ability to disable color management (we leave it to the printer's drivers to optimize).

5) Lastly, just overall ease of use.

Thanks a lot for your suggestions-right now we are unfortunately stuck with CorelDraw X3 which sucks!

Actually-I've found PhotoShop Elements to be absolutely superb! It's really easy to use and completely natural, and it's a great deal for like $40 :)

Look up GIMP. it is an Open-Source photo-editing program that is incredibly powerful for it's price (free!). It does have a bit of a learning curve but it shouldn't be too hard if you are used to layers and general photo editing from other programs.
