Reason why computer not shutting downwww com

Hello,
the switch was turn off without the pc shut down and now it is taking longer than normal to shut down..it show that it is shutting but taking longer..more than half and hour and still not shutting down

Start Windows Explorer

Right-Click the system Drive (Usually drive C)

Select Properties

Select Tools tab

In box it says "Error Checking" Click "Check Now"

Check box that says "Automatically Fix File System Errors"

Click Start.

You will be informed that drive C cannot be checked at this time and it will be scheduled for the next time you start your computer. Click "Yes"

Restart Windows, allow disk check to finish.
