Hi, I partioned my hard drive into two parts. One is an older version of XP, the one I have been using for two or three years. The other one is the new part, with Service Pack 2. On my older one, the other partition is not recognized in my computer. In my computer it shows Local Disk [G:], but the new partition is Local Disk [D:]. On my new partition my old partition shows up as Local Disk [C:] which is correct. However, whenever I try to move files from old to new, I always get an error.

Can anyone help?
I want to move a file from my old partition to my new one, but it will not let me.

Can you use a USB drive?

NTFS and Fat/Fat32 partitions?

You may have to import the previous version as a dynamic disk under disk management in order to get it recognized by the other XP install.
