A friend wants to sell me this as I want to move to 64bit, but he isnt some I fully trust.

Does the cd look legit? He says he has a valid cd key for it.

You pulled over the wrong link for the image.

If it has the hologram it is most likely legit. Chances are, he copied it and is using the CD and the key himself. When in doubt, buy it at full price from a store.
