More Information

Hi, when I am playing several games my pc tends to be usualy very sluggish and slow or it generally just freezes for a few seconds for example it does this on quake 4 constantly.

Apparently its because the onboard audio of the aw9d is meant to be boned or something and the only way to fix it is to buy a new soundcard? Does anybody else know anything about this? Any help will be appreciated, Thanks.

My specs are:

cpu - e6600
gpu - 8800 gts oc2
mb - abit aw9d
ram - 2gb ddr2 giel
hdd - 160gb
