Im not sure exactly what they say because now Im on here they refuse to appear (just my luck) But do they sound familiar to anyone?
Also...I have been having trouble with my ipod...Itunes appears to not recognise my Ipod...saying something about my Ipod module...can any one shed some light on that?
'cfgmgr32' is a generic DLL which is partly responsible for device configuration. If this is throwing an error, you have a bad driver. The fact that your iPod doesn't work eliminates a lot of troubleshooting....
I would uninstall the driver for your iPod - use an aftermarket driver cleaning progrtam to make sure you get it ALL - and reinstall.
------------------------------Which Chip? Well, it depends on which set of thieving b@stardz you choose to support: The ones who use insider trading to enrich themselves while running their company into the ground? Or the ones who illegally pay vendors to not support the first group?

He was saying to download a driver cleaner program that deletes all of the drivers on your system for one particular piece of hardware ( like your IPOD might have a driver ( a program that runs your hardware like your ipod) that is corrupt.
When you install vista- it automatically installs alot of drivers for your hardware so it might have given you a generic mp3 driver for that IPOD....
and delete your IPOD drivers and Uninstall Itunes... Then when you reinstall Itunes it should sync up with your IPOD and give you the correct drivers for it... Apple is real picky.... Try that !
