Is there a way to configure Windows to IGNORE a certain PCI slot?

Say I have a dual boot, of XP pro 32bit and Vista-64... BUT i only want the XP partition to see a PCI slot that has a certain video editing card that is only compatible with XP. Can i configure Vista to ignore that PCI slot?
Otherwise its just going to ask me to install the new hardware each time i boot up right? I don't actually own vista yet, so thats why im asking.

Think ya can goto device manager and disable it only on that OS .
