i have linux os
but i have not tv tuner card.so how i can watch tv chanells with cable connection

You need a tuner card; there is no other way to input the cable into your computer. Once you get a tuner card, you can use something like MythTV :)

You can watch TV without a TV tuner if you have access to the interent.

You can watch old episodes of stuff on a site like this: http://www.abc.net.au/tv/iview/

You can also stream live TV from any Linux computer with a tuner to any other Linux computer over your LAN :)

The streaming also works on any client computer capable of running VLC or a similiar media player.

But that's cheating ;)
