I have built a website and want to host it on my PC. I have bought the domain I want and downloaded the dynamic DNS software but I cannot get the site to open. Any ideas?

------------------------------ CASE: Antec Gamer 900
MOBO: ASUS Striker Extreme 680i
CPU: Intel Core 2 E6600 2.4 Ghz(going quad soon)
RAM: Patriot DDR2 800Mhz 4 Gigs 4-4-4-12.

Ok, i figured it out. All this time all I had to do was forward my dynamic IP to port 80 on my router. After I downloaded a dynamic DNS IP automatic updater of course. It was a good learning experience.

Hi pctechie,
I built a website in VS2005
have windows vista ultimate

1) published the site
2)went into iis created a virtual directory
3)for the virtual directory gave the ip address of my server as i want my server to host
4) have a domain name registered and set those in settings for binding

still does not show me my pages goes to a godaddy account courtesy page.

please guide me..with your steps how u were able to ..
