Hi there, I recently partitioned, and added a Linux distro to my PC, and I'm the owner of two different USB modems that run on the "Quicklink Mobile" software.

The problem is that the installer for the software, as well as the drivers, aren't Linux compatible.

The only two supported options are Windows, and Mac.

Is there any way for me to connect to the internet using my USB modems in Linux?

Knowing which Linux Distro and the make/model of the Modems would help.

With the modem plugged in, try using lsusb (may have to install it) to see what the modem is being detected as, then run a Google on it and the Distro to see if the question has been asked before.

If its a Winmodem you may have problems. As far as i know you need a hardware modem meaning that it does not require Windows drivers to function.
Or google with your modemname+linux.
