if i purchase roller coaster tycoon for windows 95/98 on amazon can i run it on windows 7 laptop?

Yes. You have to install and run it in compatibility mode (consult your online Windows help guide for help on that)

Yeah, should be able to, once installed click on the .exe that launches the game and select compatibility mode. It will let you choose which versions of Windows you want to run it as.
