I Cant locate PS/2 Keyboard in Device Manager of Win 7?

Hello,

I used the "Gerate a system health report" aplet on the control panel of Win 7 and got a report that a PS/2 keyboard is either not present or its drivers are not installed.

I am using a USB keyboard and mouse which work pretty well. I don't know why I keep getting the reports I get about the PS/2 keyboard?

  1. Ummm... it's just letting you know that there is no ps/2 keyboard installed. It's for informational purposes, not a warning or a problem.
  2. Thanks a lot Hawkeye22, but does it mean I have to let it be now?

I am some what a perfectionist who would like to keep the loose ends tied up a bit and this situation seems to rub me the wrong way in the mean time.

Anyway thanks for the info all the same.

As far as I know, that message won't go away unless you have a ps/2 keyboard installed. Like I said, it's for informational purposes.
