Hi, I have this issue,when I click on the start menu and then to programs, there is nothing only "windows update" and all of the programs that used to be there, now they are gone! please I need some help!!

Have you reset the bios lately. If you internal clock died or was reset you may have lost activation. As a security feature vista locks you out of your programs. it will also be in a lower resolution

If so you have to cal MS to fix
