Backtrack 3

I have two copies of backtrack 3. both live disks. one i cant connect to the internet cuz it has 2 diff wireless managers but i dont have wireless. any solutions? the second i cant even get to boot. it takes me to a command like screen telling me to hit tab for options, and upon doing so it gives me a list of command line like options. solutions?

Backtrack is a penetration testing tool-kit, due to the nature of the tools it doesn't launch networking services at start-up; you need to read through the documentation (and the support wiki) and decide what networking services (and drivers) you require.
