i was having issues with this motherboard in ubuntu 8 dvd version, the restricted drivers were used but not successful after the restart , the resolution moved to 640*480

i want to know what is the possible upgrade for my onboard video (nforce 610i) should settle with nvidia or go for ati

ati's compatibility with linux is doubtful

i want to play sims 3 without dragging

Get an nvidia 9800GT or better and install the proprietary driver.

Good luck :)
