Microsoft Management Console snap in failed to initialize

When i try to add/remove snap in the error message "Snap-in failed to initialize" pops up. Further i cannot view my active directory users and computers too.

  1. what version of OS ur using ?

    is it win2003 sp1
    or sp2.

    did u upgrade recently ur system to sp1 or sp2?

    check ur event viewer for possible errors.

    Did you try to access by dsa.msc (Active Directory) or dnsmgmt.msc (Dns)?

    Install the Administrative Tools for Windows Server 2003, look this...
