Are these the original installed programmes? If so, they are a part of
the structure of the OS and can't be removed. If a 3rd party programme,
then go to SETTINGS>SYSTEM>ADD/REMOVE to uninstall. Other than that, a
good working knowledge of the system registry etc is what is needed, and
that is fairly specialised. I don't recommend that way, as you can end
up with an expensive block of plastic!!

As mentioned, since they are in rom, they take no space and cannot be
removed.

It you simply want them "out of sight" you can browse to

\windows\start_menu

and delete the shortcuts

You can reassign the buttons to other programs as well.

fwiw, if you do, I would leave the shortcuts in start/programs so that
the apps are easily found when you realise that they would be helpful.

Programs like calendar and e-mail can't be deleted as they are in rom. If
you are trying to save space on your device deleting rom items won't help.

Platform builder I am guessing if it's part of the basic ROM....
