why they selling for different prices?

Each board maker is free to set their own prices on cards...

However, if the early benches are correct, this is a card competing in performance more with the 320MB 8800GTS, which is a full $100-$150 cheaper...

I belive it is competing with the 640 MB version not the 320.
Yes, but looking at the 320MB version the 640 is overpriced.

I read on fudzilla that the hd2900xt is to compete against the gts. I believe this card is more between the gts and gtx.

I had also read that the 2900 competes with gts, however, most benchmarks that I have seen (if they are real) show it dancing on both sides of the gts and I would not say it is "between" the gts and gtx.

By the way, I didn't see clockspeeds on those links. Does anyone know what htey are?
They were posted and linked a while back. I don´t see how the clock speeds could be of any importance though. There were some preliminary benchmarks, but the real performance of the cards is not known. Since the clock speed is only a part of a possible performance function, with the main part being the architecture, it is not important.

why they selling for different prices?

if the images that were leaked on fx57.net are right
then both HIS and Diamond are using diferent cooling standards (HIS was using heatpipes) while the Sapphire is using the default 8800GTX like cooler.

Yeah, HIS cooling solution is usually quieter and maybe more effective than the standard HSF.
