No light, no power, no nothing. The power cable seems fine, light comes on, I've tried powering up without the battery - nothing. I've tried powering up with another power cable - nothing.

Read somewhere battery may have become 'critically low' gone into a 'coma' and settings need to be changed, but can't power the freaking thing up at all to try anything.

Help!

Please!

Older power bricks have a green LED on them.

The battery could be completely dead or it possibly refuses to charge. However if you have tried booting without the battery then it could be a connection between the power input and motherboard. Especially if a light won't show on the laptop.
