Hey.

My grandmother has forgotten the password to her admin account on her computer. It's the only account on there.

How would it be possible to get her back in?

Thanks
Adam

Boot into Safe Mode and reset the password there. The MB or system manual should explain how to get in to Safe Mode. Try booting the system and tapping the F8 key.

With Windows XP when you boot to Safe Mode one of the options is to log in as Administrator, which doesn't have password by default, i.e., the password is account specific, so he should be able to log into Administrator and reset the password. As far as I know, unless you switch to the Traditional Log In, you will not see the Administrator account unless you're in Safe Mode
