FreeBSD 8.0

Currently down-loading the new release of FreeBSD 8.0 and was wondering if anyone has tried it yet?

I've been running the RCs for a while. On the face of it there's nothing radically new, but I gather the ZFS implementation has improved since 7. I haven't tried it yet but, if so, that will be a big plus.

Tried installing it late last night on an old laptop; installing to a command prompt was no problem, adding Linux Binary compatibility failed due to an unresolved dependency (don't know what, the message flashes past too fast); tried installing KDE4. got the graphical log-in (etc.) no problem, but keyboard and mouse don't work, had to manually install the X11 keyboard and mouse drivers but it still doesn't work; also tried (fresh) installing Gnome this morning... still no keyboard or mouse... Looks like an X11 issue; don't have the time to look into in now, it'll have to wait a few days.
