I saw a blog or website where a guy tweaked vista to run at like 30+ processes and it required to turn off a bunch of stuff.

i would like to something similiar

Anybody know anything?

Also, on every boot I get the options to boot into XP, I want to remove that. ANy clues?

Is it worth it to do this? How much of a difference in speed? If its just the boot time to me its not worth it. Vista seems to be boot pretty quick for me but that could be because of all new hardware.
Ive read in a few forums that its better to just let vista do its thing.

I would say 50-55 processes is fine, if you go lower then this then you start to loose services that may be needed by the user or the o/s
