Help, I\'m losing Hard Drive Space

Hello Every body! Today i have problem with my computer. I am hear want to ask for help from all of you. I boot window(7) i didn' t format any drives but unfortunately I lost every data in Drive "C". I noted that all the used space in drive "C" is the same as before I boot. But when I clicked on it is nothing. I don' t know why? Could you please give me the resolution for this problem.
1. I want to know that why spaces used in Drive C keep the same but lost only data?
2. What my problems are why it become like that?
