Hi. My cpu is noisy when using it after 10 minutes when running programs. I had checked cpu speed and temp in BIOS and this were the readings.

1) Initiate start ( Cool boot/First boot )
- cpu Temp = 55C
- cpu fan speed = 2667 rpm

2) The reading after 15 minutes ( after running more programs and reboot to check the condition )
- cpu Temp = 70C
- cpu fan speed = 7000 rpm

Is it those reading for that condition is normal or i have to replace or add a new heatsink?

Currently im using the standard Intel heatsink runninng Pentium D 2.66GHz.

Thanx in advance.

It sounds like the heatsink is not properly installed. Make sure the push pins are pushed in and locked down. The stock HSF is a HUGE pain to install IMO. It sounds like it is not securely locked into place. Make sure of that first also you did remove the film on the bottom of the heatsink when installing didn't you?

The noise is definitively not normal, you may need to replace the fan or rma it where you bought it to get a new one.

Your temp could be lower but they are not catastrophic....

If you plan to push your pins hard,
place your mobo on something soft and thick so you w'ont break anything .....
