hello, everyone. i got win XP pro SP2
 
western digital WD7500AAKS and seagate 160gig sata 7thgen harddrives
 
when i try to cut a file or files the original file does not disappear and when i try to shut down, a moving message appears saying "windows is currently working with a file. please close it or wait for windows to finish"
 
i tried going to windows update to look for patches but nothing there.
 
i only installed azureus torrent program, divx latest version, winamp and real. it should not affect the cutting of files
 
the only way i can shutdown my pc is to hold down the power button or press reset...

im just cutting video files really.. just the normal cut and paste in the windows right click button menu.
 
tnx for the reply but i dont have netware installed on my pc..

cutting video is hard to do because of the timeline you would need a program that can sort out the frames. something like powerproducer gold.
