Defetive Monitor

I have just bought this H P 20" monitor at wal Mart yesterday and in the center of the screen there is a dark spot oblong haped like a egg. Then on the left side of the screen there is a dark spot shaped swan's head with it's mouth open. Can you remove this for me. are do I have to take it back to Wal Mart
