I cleaned out a laptop with a bunch of infestations. I have got it clean and running a good antivirus software. The only problem I see is if you run the laptop for a while it take forever to shut down. Once you hit start and shutdown it takes 2 minutes for the turn off/restart buttons to appear. Then it take another two minutes to turn off. Is there a area I can check to speed this up. I did use msconfig and close allot of start up programs. Thanks

Something to add to my problem. If you just boot into windows and turn around and shut down right away then it is fast. Only when the laptop runs for a while.
