How can I split my screen vertically, in Windows 2000 Professional, so that I can work with two files side-by- side?

I used to be able to do it, but after my Windows 2000 was reinstalled, I don't know how to do it.

Thank you for your help and I look forward to your response!

Sincerely,

Irene

Click the middle button at the top, right corner of the application to have it re-sizable. The tiny icon will change from showing two little squares overlapping each other to a single square, (next to the close button). Do same for other application, re-size to allow both to co-exist on screen at the same time. Re-size by grabbing the bottom, right corner of the application windows and drag to size desired. Click and drag application title bar at top to move window.
