Kubuntu Question-CPU Speed

someone gave me a broken mini itx computer that had a dead psu, and was missing a hard drive. I managed to jam a hard drive and a large power supply in there. anyway, i dont know the cpu speed, where will it tell me?
kubuntu
512mb
40gb
no cd
cpu speed?
psu: wierd shaped thingy

Click Applications >>>> accessories >>>> Terminal

Inside the terminal type in:

cat /proc/cpuinfo

# and press enter

You can also install lshw and dmidecode which will give you even more information about the hardware.

lspci is also your friend, it shows your PCI / PCIe and AGP devices, if any.
