Netbios-ssn

Hello,
I am running NTbackups in out office at first every thing was backing up fine but now a days it takes much time to back up not only full back up even a differential data of full back up i check others every thing was fine only in NTop i found that it send more then 1TB data by the name of “netbios-ssn” to one of our other server which it shouldn't send any body could tell me that what is “netbios-ssn” ?

netbios-ssn is the protocol that controls print and file sharing in Windows.
