How to install linux on asus p5n73-am

i have asus motherboard p5n73-am.intel core-duo processor.i want to install linux redhat(rhel5) in my system,but after starting the installation it showing a error ''no device found to create boot disk...."but i have xp install in my system.its running fine.but linux is decting my hard disk....pls give the solution for this i want to install rhel5 in system.

RedHat 5 is getting a bit old, I doubt it will support your hardware, you need to get a more up to date version (or some older hardware).
