Color Printer for Windows 98

Hi,
A friend of mine as an old application that will only work under Windows 98. He asked me if he can get a color printer for this application. I'm not sure what options are available.

Most printers I found (laser/inkjet) require WinXP as minimum. Any idea how/where to get such printer? Could you please models/brands?

Highly unlikely that you will find any printers today with Windows 98 drivers. Why can't the app be run in XP using compatibility mode?

It crossed my mind, but I thought WinXP didn't have compatibility mode for Win98, also not sure my friend has the original application disks to install on WinXP.

Yup, XP compatibility mode can emulate 98.
