I have windows 98 installed on my system yeah 98, someone gave it to me so I decided to see what I could do with it, I just want to surf the internet "Wirelessly". Windows won't install the software that goes with the wireless usb adapter I have so when I ran linux I cant' find out how to get the info off of the usb drive because I copied the install info for the adapter. Can anyone tell me how to do that, get feather linux to recognize the usb drive so I can get the info to install?

Have you got linux running already and need usb in it or are you still trying to get it to boot off of a thumb drive? In the second case, you should go into the BIOS and try to set the USB drive as the primary boot device (if it shows up).
