I want to move to vista, but I want to use the windows classic theme, which I have been using even on my xp - i don't like the xp theme, and vista with 1000x confirm and reconfirm and rereconfirm everything (can you shut this off??) from copy-pasting to connecting on ftp sites makes me crazy!!

is there any way to work on vista, but have it behave (at least visually) as in the windows classic theme???

Right Click the screen for Properties - Windows Color and Appearance - Open Classic Appearance Properties - Windows Classic is the 4th one down.

i tried it, but it doesn't change the concept of vista back to xp...

For that I would reccomend a nice product called Windows XP.

Just kiddin.

You can set the theme to XP. You can turn off UAC and then there is another fix for turning off the warnings that UAC is off.
