I have a Asrock Mobo AliveXFire i'm wondering. And Ati' 2900XT comes out monday!! Here's my my problem I have just read that the 2900XT can only compete with the GTS and the GTX. Can a nvidia card work on a Ati chipset?? Or can I use any vid card on any mobo. If so what should i get i'm no fan-boy just want best bang for buck. Also, 2950XTX is slotted for Q3 (Sept). Nividia Now or Ati Later?? Need Opinions??

Yes an nVidia card works with an ATI chipset and also ATI cards work with nVidia chipsets. You just can't use SLI/Crossfire if they're mismatched. As for what the ATI cards compete with, just wait and see Monday rather than speculating at this point.
